The location was great, close to Bayswater Tube.

Where do I start. Receptionist could barely speak English. The room was dirty. The bed was a camp bed. The decor was tatty. The window didn't shut properly. Road noise was bad. Awful, just awful.

    The bed was comfortable.

The en suite was disgusting and the venetian blind did not work. The room lighting was very basic (one central light) so it was difficult to read in bed and there were no drawers for clothes nor wardrobe.

    the tube/metro station was close.

rooms are tiny, if i stood in the middle of the room and stretched my arms out, i touched the walls on either side without even fully extending my arms. bed linen was old & stained. mattrass was old, soft, & stained. bathroom was dilapidated. hot & cold water didn't mix very well. shower was either very cold or scalding hot. bathroom was little more than a cupboard. half the sink was directly over the toilet bowl, a larger person, or a big-breasted female would have difficulty using the toilet. there's no mirror over the basin, so shaving is difficult. breakfast is a cold-boiled egg, tea/coffee, white toast, and instant orange drink. boiled eggs that are not eaten are put in the fridge for the next day!

Room was tiny, dirty, bathroom was so small you had to leave the door open to go to the loo. Receptionist made me pay again when I went to book in as he couldnt find confirmation that I had paid. He insisted I pay him again and then prove to him I had already paid, what a great start to the trip. After getting my bank statement faxed through to him as proof that I had already paid he refunded me, no apology. Can't comment on the breakfast as I was not as brave as to try it. In all honesty I am appalled that a place like this can trade. I appreciate the hotel is in a upmarket area, but even for budget accommadation this was well below par. Really dissapointing!!!!!

The Towel was not changed daily, we put the 3 towel all on the floor but when we are back to hotel in the evening, the same 3 towels just hang back to our bed (I know it as we recognize & still a bit wet). Toilet is the smallest that I have ever encounter.

    Very good

Staff usaualy in the morning shift were very helpful, right in the Time Square! Affordable! A/c in the room worked great especialy in 105+ degrees weather!

Staff in the evening shift were not too helpful over the phone. Our room didn't get cleaned once over 5 dyas stay. Altough we were given fresh towels as we needed them. Very expansive deli shops right next to a hotel. 4 usd for a bottle of water which cost 1 USDin the shop across the street

I didn't appreciate the fact that I was in a very small attic room, without lift, no tea making facilities. Very basic accommodation...like a youth hostel! Very poor value for money. I was called at the hotel and apparently the reception did not speak sufficient English to be able to accept and give a message to me. In my view the room was no more than a box room, and in need of freshening up! Very disappointing and hugely overpriced!!!

The location was very good - you can reach many sights by foot, and very easy to travel with the underground, just a few blocks away. Nice staff. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms!!! Goes well for a cheap hotel trip to London, when you're not going to London to sit in your room ;-)

In the photos, the hotel seemed very nice! A bit disappointed when we saw the room - ground floor with a small window facing the street, and the tinyest bathroom I've ever seen. Couldn't close the door before sitting down on the toilet, because of the distance from the toiletseat to the door. Almost sitting in the shower when you are sitting on the toilet. Looked like the bathroom in a caravan! Thin walls, could hear everything happening in the hallway, and in bed in the room above our room... The hotel was a bit worn down inside. When we ordered, we thought that it was a very good deal and an expencive hotel, because of the discount (reduced from about 1000£ to about 250£ for 4 nights, last room at that price). After ordering, I checked the new price - the price for a double room was higher, but the price before discount was then lowered. Don't think they ever sold rooms for the original price they showed when I ordered, and I would have been very disappointed if I had payed 1000£ for that room!

Never ever stay here! This is not a hotel - it is a scandalous money making machine, selling tiny, dirty, stinking rooms. The bathrooms are no bigger than cupboards, even smaller than in a caravan. There is no customer care. Hostels are better run and cleaner than this place, you'd be better off there. Our room was supposed to sleep four, but had a very small double bed and bunk beds! Its a joke that places like this are allowed to trade!

Location was a 15 minute walk from hyde park.

There was damp in the room. The ensuite was a caravan style shower that you had to stand over the toilet to use. If I weighed over 15 stone I would not have been able to wash. There were damp patches on the ceiling above the bed with mould that is bad for health. We made them change all bedding as when we checked in and turned them over they were stained and disgusting. Me and my girlfriend felt dirty when in the room and it was so bad we didnt stay the third night and paid extra for a train home. We also looked to pay for other hotels in the local area when we first checked in but they were all booked. I will be complaining to ombudsman

location gave easy access to hyde park & surrounding attactions.

Room was tiny n noisy, could hear other guests moving around upstairs also walls very thin. also could hear non stop traffic as the room we were in was the very first room behind the reception area on ground floor. Bathroom was somethin i would expect to see in a small caravan..!! good job both myself & partner are slim otherwise theres is no way could poss use the shower or toilet facilities, like a glorified porta loo in a cupboard. Also payed extra for breakfast expecting full english... but were served 2 rounds of toast wiv jam n a croissant. when asked were breakfast once the lady couldnt speak english n just shrugged her shoulders. we then had 2 go out to the local bella italia n pay for a breakfast.

Just wanted a bed for the night and they were clean and fairly comfy.

Very shabby and not that cheap. Good job I didn't need to swing a cat because there wasn't enough room.
